Design Developer & Fashion Designer
Laura Luchtman is a design developer and fashion designer that grew up in the southern part of The Netherlands before she moved to the vibrant city of Rotterdam. After graduating as a Fashion Stylist in 2008, she got her first job in fashion. She worked as an in-house designer, designing intimate apparel, accessories, womenswear and textile prints.
Her design style can be described as fresh and minimalistic (not ornate or incredibly detailed), but with a slight twist. She is fully aware of her strengths and not afraid to push her boundaries. She loves to work with rebellious future thinking brands – big or small – that aim to change the system radically or bit by bit.
She tries to contribute to a better fashion future by experimenting with innovative materials and biodesign, blogging about hot topics in the industry and speaking in public. She values cross disciplinary collaborations and sharing and gathering knowledge.
